Russell Babb Elementary

The focus on the bond for Russell Babb Elementary (RBE) is to decrease the number of times our fourth and fifth grade students must exit the building to access learning spaces. Currently, these children must exit the building to access the library, the gym, the cafeteria, speech, and other spaces which leaves them vulnerable to safety concerns. RBE also lacks a saferoom that allows quick and easy entrance for all students. The bond will incorporate a saferoom into the needed building connection additions. It will also provide updates to the very-dated cafeteria, Art, and Music learning spaces.

  • Ensuring the safety of our children is a paramount concern for parents, which is why we firmly believe that the implementation of these renovations will effectively diminish instances of unauthorized entry or exposure to potential harm. Additionally, these upgrades will establish a secure corridor within our campus buildings, facilitating seamless movement throughout the premises.

  • By implementing a single point of entry system, we are able to enhance our level of supervision over the individuals entering our schools and ensure the security of our cherished students. This interconnectedness between all the buildings will effectively minimize potential threats and maximize the overall safety of our campus.

  • In addition to our commitment to providing secure entry ways, we possess the capability to undertake comprehensive renovations within our existing space. By tailoring our environment specifically to the needs of education and allowing for future growth, we aim to enhance the overall educational experience and create a more adaptable and accommodating atmosphere within our institution.
